When the Advanced carry-on isn't enough, this is the checked case at the other end of the range. 75 x 50 x 32 cm, 103 litres expanding to 119, and still a reasonable 4.9 kg in virgin polycarbonate. Recessed TSA-approved locks, X-strap compression inside to keep a full load from shifting, and Hinomoto silent dual-caster wheels to push it all through the terminal. Storm grey, built for the long-haul packer.

Victorinox 1+10-year warranty. In the first year, Victorinox covers manufacturing defects, normal wear and tear, and airline handling and transit damage. From year 2 to year 11, it covers manufacturing defects and normal wear and tear, except seams, stitching, fabric and zipper tape. Abuse, accidents and cosmetic damage such as scratches aren't covered. The Travel Shop is an authorised Victorinox stockist, so your case comes with the full warranty. Keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
